Esther St. John

 A woman by God’s design, a wife and mother by choice and a minister of the gospel of Jesus Christ by God's calling.  

At the young age of thirteen, Esther gave her heart to the Lord and began to serve Him with all her determination as a teenager. After graduating from high school, she enrolled and attended the International Bible College in Saskatchewan, Canada for two years. Upon her return to Ontario, Canada she began to work in her local church, teaching and preaching the word of God and assisting wherever needed in the ministry. During that time, she was trained and worked in the dental field as a dental assistant. She transitioned to different careers over the years and now works as a certified mortgage agent.

At present Pastor Esther works alongside her husband Apostle Dr. Lovelace St. John as an Associate Pastor at Progress Church, where she oversees some of the key Ministries of the church. As well as lead the Women’s Ministry, Daughters of Royalty.  

Pastor Esther holds a diploma in Biblical Studies and an Associate Degree in Christian Studies. It's her desire to continue training and developing to serve God and His people and make full proof of her ministry and calling on her life. As you listen to Pastor Esther speak, you will see that she is passionate about the kingdom of God and its advancement in the earth. Her desire is to see the body of Christ walk in maturity. Part of her mandate is to help women come into a better understanding of who they are in Christ and also to help equip the body of Christ for the work of the ministry. As the Apostle Paul declared to the Philippians church; “for it is God who works in you to will and to act in order to fulfill his good purpose (Philippians 2:13, NIV).”  

She has been married for over 34 years to her husband Apostle Lovelace. They have 3 grown sons, 2 daughters (in-law) and one grandson.
